I'm A City Girl....

and that's the truth! We spent the week up in the Finger Lakes on Lake Keuka. We did have basic cable but I was cut-off from the World Wide Web...eeekk! It was only a week but I couldn't wait to get back to the city to check my email, blog surf, etc... We did have fun. It's wine country up there and we visited a couple of the wineries and came back with a case of wine. It will take us years to drink it all...I think I have to plan some get-togethers so I have an excuse to crack open the bottles.

Wolfen takes us on a nature walk through the Watkins Glen State Park

This is the view from the backyard of the cottage where we stayed

Beautiful Lake Keuka

She-Qua-Ga(Tumbling Waters) Falls are literally in someone's backyard

I picked up a back issue of Interweave Knits here

Over the weekend, we headed over to Cooperstown for the baseball tournament that Christian's team participates in every year.

I wanted to take a picture of this sign last year...it says Pistol Packing Mamas Antiques & Firearms

I visited Sybil again. I got this book from the Point a bit ago but had never heard of the yarn.

Well, Sybil had lots. She had just gotten a bunch of orders and you had to step over boxes to get to the yarn on the shelves.

Magallanes to make this chunky cropped jacket...

and Atacama to make this long-sleeved tee...

And knitting?? Well, I'm surprised I didn't get too much done. I worked on a pinwheel baby blanket that I need to have finished and blocked by Sunday for the baby shower. I'm not sure it will happen...wish me luck!!
